Quarrying
Stage
Marble,
Granite, Sandstone, Slate and Kotah Stone Blocks are always the first
choice. These blocks are inspected for fractures or patches on the
surface. Water is poured on these blocks to test for color variation,
similarity of the pattern. (All 6 sides of the blocks are checked
similarly.) We have appointed qualified geologists at the quarry site to
do the needful.
Surface Treatment
It
is performed by treating the slab or tile surface by an epoxy adhesive
before it has been polished.
Polishing
Polishing
will always be uniform through out the surface of slabs or tiles.
There will no be any grinding wheel marks on the polished face.
Thickness
+01
mm tolerance for slabs & tiles.
Length
and Width
+0.5mm
in tolerance for tiles and + 3mm in tolerance for slabs
(Not apply to the random edge slabs).
Unpolished
Side
The
unpolished side of the slabs/tiles should be flat and smooth.
Cracks,
Edge Defects, Corner Defects
Rigorous
Quality tests do not allow any such defects in our slabs and tiles.
